Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ./sentral platform ("Service"), operated by ./sentral ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

./sentral provides a web-based platform for viewing and analysing Commitments of Traders (COT) data published by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The Service includes data visualisation tools, positioning analysis, signal scanning, and related features.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid features require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe at the rate in effect when you subscribe; that rate remains in effect for the duration of your continuous subscription. We may change pricing for new subscribers at our discretion, but existing subscribers are not affected. If your subscription is cancelled (by you or due to non-payment) and you later re-subscribe, the then-current price applies. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Free Trial

New accounts receive a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you must add a payment method to continue using paid features. If no payment method is provided, access to paid features will be suspended.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems; (c) scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service; (d) resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and original content are owned by ./sentral and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. CFTC COT data is public domain; however, our analysis, visualisations, and derived data products are proprietary.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. COT DATA IS SOURCED FROM THE CFTC AND MAY BE DELAYED OR CONTAIN ERRORS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ./SENTRAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Not Financial Advice

The Service provides data and analytical tools only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading, or other professional advice. See our Financial Disclaimer for full details. You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
